I've tried some purchased 'lower thirds' titles in vegas pro, with the tandem vids variables as the text,
such as jumpers name and jump date, but they don't function.
I appreciate it may be difficult for you to comment, but
Is there a specification of what may or may not work, with swoopware ?

It's only Vegas text media that works with TandemVids. Lower thirds will usually be the video component and then you place Vegas text media on a layer above the lower thirds and it will be populated by TandemVids.

In the Help file, browse to Home > Sony Vegas > Generated text for a further explanation.

If you're using a third party plugin which generates it's own text inside the lower thirds, TandemVids cannot communicate with it.
