Sony Vegas Pro was recently purchased by Magix who have released Vegas Version 14.

This new version will not be supported by TandemVids in the near future.

As part of their release, Magix have renamed the referenced components and the objects within those components making it impossible to support previous versions of Sony Vegas with the same code base as the Magix version. To support the new version, code refactoring is required. This is not difficult but it means previous versions would no longer be supported. I can't support previous Sony Vegas versions, 8 through 13 at the same time as supporting version 14.

I haven't decided what to do with this mess at the moment. I'll update this post when I make a decision.

We're currently working on supporting both Sony and Magix releases of Vegas.

This required a significant change in architecture and a huge amount of code has been moved and rewritten. I still don't have an eta or a guarantee for Version 14 support but work is well under way.

I can finally say the next release will support Magix Vegas Pro 14.

This is the single biggest code change since the initial release back in 2010 so testing will be significant. please be patient.

The next release will support both Magix Vegas Pro 14 and 15.

It's code complete and has moved into the testing phase.

This release is still moving forward. Testing is continuing.

The final installation packages are complete and operational for both 32 and 64 bit. TandemVids 2017 supports Windows 7 to Windows 10 and Vegas 9 to 15.

We haven't found any major issues over the last few days of testing and currently there are zero known bugs. We still can't give an eta as it depends on what bugs we find and how long it takes to fix them but we're close.

This release involves a complete change in architecture and refactoring of pretty much everything. Please be patient.
