I usually do my photos separately but my still camera didn't work on a jump and I tried to use swoopware to pull frame grabs from the video for me. Almost all of them came out very blurry almost like it was combining two frames together into the one picture. I am shooting with a GoPro 4 black at 1080 and 60 FPS. I was able to use VLC player and get awesome frame grabs from there. Is this being caused because I am shooting at 60 FPS? If so is there a setting in swoopware I can change to make the frame grabs come out clear with out lowering my FPS to 30?

Set your default project in Vegas to match your camera. Open Vegas without TandemVids, select File | Properties. Change the project to 1080 @ 30fps. Tick the box to start all new projects with these settings and you should be good to go.

We are am having the same problem, Camera and Vegas are matched as far as setting go 1080/ 25 FPS PAL. Checked to see all cameras are set to the correct setting and all are correct. I did have this problem in the past and found it was set to NTSC but not the case this time. Any thoughts?

For Ramblers, this was due to source media set to PAL (25 FPS) with Vegas configured to start new projects in NTSC at 30 FPS.

The Vegas configuration looked OK and caught me out when I remote accessed their computer. This was because the default shortcut on the desktop actually pointed to an empty template, rather then the Vegas application. When starting Vegas, rather than loading a new default empty template, it was opening an empty template that was set to PAL. I went round in circles for a bit exporting blurry photos from TandemVids and checking Vegas using the incorrect shortcut. If I'd simply ticked the option to start all projects with the settings from the empty template set to PAL, it would have fixed everything. Instead, we were incorrectly assuming Vegas was configured correctly.

We have tried the above solutions. We have adjusted our resolution to match our cameras, changed the default project setting in Vegas and still the photos are coming out blurry. We are using GoPros filming in 720P at 60fps. Please assist.

Your settings in Vegas should look exactly like the attached screen shot agardner.
